The Trees for Life Project Area for forest restoration

This map show the Target Area, covering about 1000 square miles (2,600 square kilometres) to the west of Inverness and Loch Ness, within which most of our work to restore the Caledonian Forest takes place. Areas where we have carried out significant restoration work include Glen Affric, West Affric, Corrimony, Inverwick, Achnashellach and our own estate at Dundreggan.

We also work at some other nearby sites not shown on this map, including Glen Garry and the island of Skye.

Another version of this map, with additional details, is available here on the Trees for Life volunteer website, which is run by and for Trees for Life volunteers and supporters.
