Trees for Life Engagement Diary 2007
Featuring 58 full colour reproductions, the Trees for Life Engagement Diary provides an unrivalled and wide-ranging selection of outstanding photographs of the forests of our planet. The 2007 edition features photographs which range from Cambodia to Cameroon, and from Iceland to Ecuador, as well as many other countries. It also includes a specially-commissioned fascinating introductory essay about the role of driftwood in the world's seas and oceans by noted ecologist and author, Chris Maser. Also included are information about many of the areas depicted, a glossary of forest types around the world, a list of tree- and forest-related sites on the World Wide Web and contact addresses for conservation groups in the areas featured in the photographs, all of which combine to make the diary both highly informative and eminently practical. An Australian photographer, who contributes images to the diary each year, has described the 2007 edition as 'the best yet'! The diary measures 16 x 23.5 cm (6 x 9 in).
