Trees for Life Calendar 2005

This exceptional wall calendar is an annual celebration of the richness and diversity of our planet's forests. It combines 13 large and 12 small full colour, high quality photographs of trees, forests and their wildlife from around the world with information about the state of the forests in each featured country, and addresses for conservation groups in each area. The calendar measures 30 x 33 cm. (12 x 13 in.) when folded, opening to 66 cm. (26 in.), and includes plenty of space to write in appointments etc. The 2005 edition features an introductory essay entitled 'Rescuing the tallest hardwod trees on Earth' by Australian forest campaigner, Helen Gee, and will inspire anyone who appreciates trees.

Featuring 58 full colour reproductions, the Trees for Life Engagement Diary provides an unrivalled and wide-ranging selection of outstanding photographs of the forests of our planet. The 2005 edition features photographs from Mauritius, Estonia, Malaysia, Madagascar, Bolivia and many other countries, as well as a lucid and articulate introductory essay by forest consultant Nigel Dudley entitled 'What kind of forests do we want'. Also included are information about many of the areas depicted, a glossary of forest types around the world, a list of tree- and forest-related sites on the World Wide Web and contact addresses for conservation groups in the areas featured in the photographs, all of which combine to make the diary both highly informative and eminently practical.
