Our wishlist from Caledonia Wild! Winter 2006

After we posted in a previous newsletter, once again you have made our wishes come true! Margaret Tuddenham funded the purchase of 12 new specialist planting spades. Bill Gray has donated office furniture for Dundreggan and work benches for Plodda Lodge. Crispin Hayes has donated an iMac computer from Strathclyde University, and we were delighted to receive a box of work goggles from Helen Fore. Thank you very much!

Here's our revised Wish List:

  • A four wheel drive crew cab pickup truck for Dundreggan.
  • 2 x Garmin GPS units, model 12XL (or equivalent 12 channel units).
  • An Apple Mac-compatible printer for Dundreggan.
  • An Apple Mac-compatible colour printer for the field staff in our office.
  • A second set of specialist planting spades.
  • A high frequency sound mouse repellent unit, to help prevent mice from eating seeds such as holly and hazelnuts in the poly tunnel at Plodda Lodge.
  • A large water tank for rainwater storage, and to feed the irrigation unit, at Plodda Lodge.
  • A set of Therm-a-Rest mats for use at the Athnamulloch bothy.

If you can supply us with any of these items, or contribute to their purchase, we'd be delighted to hear from you.

Tel: 0845 458 3505 or use the Donation form to make a donation online via our secure server.

Many thanks!

Many thanks!

We are very grateful to Therm-a-rest for providing mats to keep volunteers comfortable at the bothy!
