Our Millionth Tree planted on 20th May 2012

Over 150 people attended our special celebration event on 20th May 2012, when acclaimed wildlife cameraman and filmmaker Gordon Buchanan planted the Millionth Tree since we began work to help restore Scotland’s Caledonian Forest. The day included a variety of activities, and also saw the planting of the first few trees as part of our Million More Trees campaign.

Children had an opportunity to join the Woodland Orchestra in making music. The environmental education charity, Wild Things!, a sister charity of Trees for Life, provided activities for children during the day.
