The Memorial Grove for...
Valerie Pragnell

We belong to the ground - in its power we must stay, close to it, or maybe we will get lost.

Valerie working

In loving memory of Valerie Pragnell; inspirational, respected and well known artist, creative and talented cook, caring and devoted mother of Anna and Sophie and adoring grandmother of Kai and Niamh. She was a friend to so many, life-giving and dynamic. The world is much diminished by her loss and we will all miss her so very much.

Taking solace and inspiration from nature and the landscape, she would often be found on the shore or in the woods, looking for material to use in her art, or simply enjoying the winds, woods and weather.

We know she is at peace now and are listening for her in the wind, woods and waves. She will always be with us.

"Be the seasons,
Welcome change.

Be the leaf.
Fall gracefully when your time comes
To let go.

Trust in the circle,
To end is to begin."

There have been donations of £1,049 towards Valerie Pragnell's memorial grove. That's a grove of 207 trees.
