The Wedding Grove for
Sam Barbour and Sandy Pringle

"As weddings are all-consuming, we would like to give something back. We have therefore chosen this charity Trees for Life who are restoring the Caledonian Forest, which we can all enjoy for generations to come. Thank you for enabling us to do this and, who knows, we could take some photos of us hugging the trees in the future!"

Our grove of trees

123 aspen trees were planted for us in Glen Affric this week (early June 2005). These were young trees from Trees for Life's own tree nursery at Plodda Lodge, grown from root cuttings taken from Glen Affric. (See Where groves were planted.)
