Biodiversity in Glen Affric

Glen Affric contains the third largest remnant of the Caledonian Forest which still survives in Scotland. This remnant is the largest area of least disturbed Caledonian Forest, and the glen also has the longest history of restoration work for the recovery of the forest, all of which makes it an important site for biological diversity in Scotland.
