Mining bee (Andrena marginata) on devilsbit scabious (Succisa pratensis) on Dundreggan. This species was presumed extinct in Scotland in 1949 until a single individual was recorded in Strathspey in 2002. Its discovery by Jane Bowman on Dundreggan and surrounding areas in August 2007 forms the only other recent record for this species in Scotland. Photo by Jane Bowman.
