Companies supporting Trees for Life

The Sherwood Press Group

The Sherwood Press in Nottingham is a perfect example of a company keen to get involved in our work and make real changes to its environmental impact.

It recently received the prestigious ISO14001 and ISO9001 accreditation for its environmental and ethical performance. It has donated considerable sums to support our work, including £3,000 for the 100,000 planting campaign.

Its Managing Director and other members of staff are attending two Conservation Work Work Weeks this autumn, and several members have made site visits in the past to see the effects their support has in real terms. Trees for Life’s Executive Director Alan Watson was also invited as a keynote speaker at an environmental seminar organised by The Sherwood Press for their clients about improving their environmental performance.

“Sherwood Press began working with Trees for Life in 1998 as part of a greeting card initiative to work at restoring the Caledonian Forest. Our recent work is a natural extension of that commitment and we are working hard with all stakeholders in the business to promote responsible environmental practices.”
Jeremy Bacon, Managing Director, Sherwood Press

Jeremy Bacon, and Sherwood Press's support for our work, is featured in our video clip about Corporate Support for our Work (8.4 mb).
